LUBBOCK, Texas -
The Cowgirl tennis team (0-1 overall) opened up the dual season with a tough task on Saturday as they lost 7-0 to the 18th ranked Texas Tech Lady Raiders.
"Give credit to Texas Tech today they are well coached and have depth," said head coach Dean Clower. I felt as a team we definitely got better. The team executed many things we have been working on. We will rest up tonight and be ready for a good Texas State team tomorrow.
Texas Tech was solid out of the gates as they took the early lead by winning the doubles point.
