LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The Wyoming Cowgirl tennis team earned their eighth victory of the season with a 6-0 win against the Northern Colorado Bears, on Saturday morning, in Laramie.
"I thought we stepped up and played well today," said UW head coach Krissy Hall. "This was a good start for us to start our three match road swing next week."
The teams started the match with singles play and the Cowgirls won all six contests. UW senior Corina Lazar earned a two set win, 6-3, 6-4 over Tabatha Knop, while Cowgirl freshman Rebecca Berger defeated Tiffany Knop, 6-1, 6-4. Wyoming's Carly Van Hollen also had a nice win in two sets, 6-3, 6-2, over Manuela Santos.
