Wyoming Tennis Falls 6-1 to Utah

The Wyoming Cowgirl tennis team moved to 5-11 overall and 1-4 in the Mountain West conference with a 6-1 loss against the Utah Utes on Sunday afternoon in Fort Collins.
Utah took two of three matches in doubles play to win that point. The UW team of Andrea House and Karolina Rowinski defeated Elizabeth Ferris and Leigh Walsh, 8-5. Cowgirls Michelle Brown and Corina Lazar lost to Emily Kwok and Cheyenne Reveche, 8-4, while Wyoming's Jamie Nelson and Sarah Summerfield lost to Karine Bourdages and Andrea Maugjam. 8-3.
In singles play, the only Cowgirl to take a match was the freshman Summerfield. She defeated Kwok, 6-4, 6-2. Ferris defeated Rowinski, 6-1, 6-1, while Bourdages beat Nelson, 6-1, 6-0. Lazar fell to Walsh, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 10-6, while House came up short, 6-4, 6-2, against Reveche.
