LARAMIE, Wyo. -

The doubles team Alexandra Kovacs and Sasa Nemcova had their run ended at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

"This was a good experience against a top ranked team in the country," said assistant coach Ewa Szatkowska. "This was an opportunity for them to see where they are as a team and what they need to continue to work on."

In the pre-qualifying doubles draw, the duo fell to the team of Whitney Kay and Caroline Price of North Carolina by a score of 8-2. They will resume their fall season next weekend at the Air Force Invitational in Colorado Springs.

The doubles team of Veronica Popovici and Simona Synkova will return to the court on Thursday, Oct. 4, in the main draw of doubles.
