Cowgirl Tennis Wraps Up Play At Central Regionals

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -

The Wyoming tennis team wrapped up play on Friday at the ITA Central Region Championship competition in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The UW team of Patricia Chien and Karolina Rowinski fell to the third seeded team of Olga Boulytcheva and Sofia Holden of BYU by the score of 8-3. They finish the fall with an overall record of 4-2.

"It was a tough day with the loss against a very competitive BYU doubles team," said head coach Kristen Hall. "I'm very proud of the way Patricia and Karolina performed today and in the tournament as a whole."

The Cowgirls will open up the 2006 spring season on Friday, Jan. 27 against Montana State in Bozeman, Montana.
