LARAMIE, Wyo. -

The Wyoming Cowgirl Tennis Team will host their first of only two home matches this season over the weekend in Laramie.

They will welcome the Utah Utes, on Saturday morning, April 17, starting at 10:00 a.m. The match will be played at the UW Tennis Complex and admission is free.

"Despite our conference record, we are still extremely confident as a team that we can finish out this coming weekend with a win against Utah," said head coach Pam Wildt. "We know we have to take advantage of playing at home in order to move up in the conference standings. It'll be a dog fight of a match but that's the way we like them, and we're excited to play at home in front of a big crowd."

The Cowgirls come into the weekend with a 9-9 overall record and an 0-5 mark in the MWC. The Utes bring a record of 7-14 overall and are 1-4 in conference matches.

Wyoming will wrap up conference play by hosting the BYU Cougars, on Friday, April 23, at 1:00 p.m. at the UW Tennis Courts.
