Cowgirl Tennis adds one student-athlete

LARAMIE, Wyo. -

University of Wyoming head tennis coach Kati Gyulai today announced the signing of one student-athlete to attend the University of Wyoming beginning in the fall of 2011.

"We are very excited to have Jessica join us next fall," said Gyulai. "Her all-around court game and athleticism is a great fit for our program. She will have an immediate impact in our line-up. I look forward to seeing her excel here at the University of Wyoming."

Jessica Parizher, 5-5, Studio City, Calif. (Chaminade College Prep): A letterwinner in tennis while attending Chaminade College Prep. During her junior year, she helped her team to a Mission League Championship and was named the tennis MVP. Parizher is currently ranked 37th in the state of California, 40th in the Southwest Region and 163rd nationally. She was ranked a four-star recruit by Tennisrecruiting.net. She was coached by Vazhgen Zaghian. Parizher is the daughter of Alexander and Alisa Parizher, and has a sister Jacqueline.
