"We are excited to start the conference season," said head coach Pat Stangle. "This match against Air Force has a lot of meaning. They are a much improved team, they are at home and have confidence heading in to this match. We need to take care of our side of the net and the things we can control."
Wyoming enters the week with a 5-3 (.625) overall record after posting a 2-1 mark at the Jayhawk Invitational this past weekend.

She is followed closely by senior Angie Hellbaum who is averaging 4.31 kills and 2.22 digs, while leading way with the .285 (155-48-375) hitting percentage. Both Smith and Hellbaum recently earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Jayhawk Invitational.
