The Wyoming volleyball team will start the second time through the conference this weekend as they host the Colorado State Rams, on Friday, Oct. 28, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

This is the 59th meeting between the two teams. CSU leads 40-18 and has won the last 15 meetings. The last time the two teams met was September 30, 2005 when the Rams defeated the Cowgirls 3-2 in Ft. Collins. Colorado State is coached by Tom Hilbert, who is in his ninth season with the program.

The Cowgirls come into this match with a 7-12 overall mark and a 2-6 record in the conference. They are currently led by sophomore outside hitter Rachel Smith, who is averaging 3.63 kills and 2.22 digs per game. She is followed closely by Andrea Seele who is hitting .254 (143-57-338) on the year while adding 2.13 kills per game. As a team, Wyoming is averaging 13.32 kills per game and 14.42 digs per game.

The Rams are currently 12-6 overall and 5-3 in MWC play after falling to TCU in five games earlier in the week. They are led by Casey Bauer, who is averaging 3.73 kills and 2.39 digs per game, while Tess Rogers is adding 3.60 kills and hitting .214 (234-113-566) on the season. They return three starters and five letterwinners to a squad that went 26-4 overall and 13-1 in the Mountain West Conference a year ago.
