The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Team will make their final regular season conference road trip this week. They will take on the TCU Horned Frogs, on Thursday, Nov. 14, and the New Mexico Lobos, on Saturday, Nov. 16. The match against the Frogs is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time and can be seen on The Mtn. Sports Network while the UNM match is slated for 1:00 p.m. Live stats of the matches can also be followed on www.wyomingathletics.com.

Wyoming enters the week with a 21-6 (.778) record overall and 6-5 in the MWC after two victories over Air Force and UNLV last weekend. The Cowgirls are currently led by sophomore Jodi Purdy who is averaging 3.29, which is fifth in the league, 2.59 digs and 4.05 points per set. She is followed by Lauren Whitney who is adding 2.64 kills and 2.20 digs. JennaRae Jester is averaging a team high 1.40 blocks, while Jadranka Tramosljanin in adding 4.26 digs per set. As a team, they are averaging 13.41 kills, 13.89 digs and 2.68 blocks per set.

The Frogs are 13-12 overall and 4-7 in the conference. TCU is led by Irene Hester who is averaging 3.66 kills and 2.91 digs per set. She is followed by Christy Hudson who is adding 2.70 kills and 2.93 digs per set. They return four starters and ten letterwinners to a team that went 27-7 overall and 13-3 in the Mountain West Conference a year ago.

This is 17th meeting between the two schools. Wyoming leads the series 9-7. The last time the two teams met was October 16, 2010 as the Cowgirls defeated the Frogs, 3-0, in Laramie. TCU is coached by Prentice Lewis who is in her ninth season.

The Lobos are currently 16-8 overall, 8-3 in conference play and will take on the CSU Rams before taking on the Cowgirls. New Mexico is led by Lisa Meeter who is averaging a team leading 3.24 kills and 3.03 digs per set. She is followed by Taylor Hadfield who is adding 3.14 kills and 1.12 digs per set. They return five starters and nine letterwinners to a team that went 20-10 overall and 10-6 in the Mountain West Conference a year ago.

This is 64th meeting between the two schools. Wyoming leads the series 34-29. The last time the two teams met was October 14, 2010 as the Lobos defeated Wyoming 3-0 in Laramie. New Mexico is coached by Jeff Nelson who is in his fourth season with the program and his 16th overall.
