Mason Schultz is in his second season as a graduate assistant at Wyoming. A former Cowboy offensive lineman, Schultz spent last season coach tight ends at Colorado Mesa.Â
Schultz helped a pair of All-Mountain West performers last season in guard Caden Barnett and center Jack Walsh. Barnett was the highest graded offensive lineman in the conference according to Pro Football Focus.
He helped lead the Mavericks to a 7-4 overall record in 2024. His unit helped block for a pair of All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference running backs.Â
A member of the Cowboys as a reserve offensive lineman, he was key to the the depth along the unit during his career. He came to Wyoming after a standout prep career at Grandview High School.Â
